Life is about change

All the issues in our lives, all the challenging situations we have to face everyday are not problems but CHANGE. Life is about change and adapting to those changes, Unfortunately, human beings are not ready for a change because we like to live in our confort zone. If we saw challenging situations not as problems but as changes in our lives, our perspective on how to look at things will change completely.
Change is not good or bad. Change is change. When something affects you , just stop for a minute to see what is in your control and what is not in your control. You will see that 95% of the external situations are out of you control, the only thing you can control is yourself and how to respond to the external situations coming to you.
Don't focus on the situations, FOCUS on you and how to handle the changes in your life. The good news is that every situation has a solution, you just have to take the time to see how you can solve it but your mind should be stable, not in pain. Solution comes when there is stability in the self, if people are in pain , they will never find the solution to the changes in their lives.
There is only one thing that is constant and that is change. So learn how to handle those changes in life by looking at problems as challenges and with a stable mind you will find the solution to those challenges. Focus on the solution not on the situation and remember that changes are always opprotunities for growth and expansion.

Happiness from withinn

Happiness is not an emotion. Happiness is a state. It doesn't depend on external circumstances, it depends on how you react to those circumstances. Happiness is an outcome of how we relate to the emotional experiences we are having in life.
Instead of resisting external situations which are out of our control, we should invite them and accept them as part of our learning experience.
When we place responsibilty in anything that is not us there's nothing we can do to change it. We can't control things outside us. However, we can choose how to respond to the outside world. The good news is that we can choose what to think! We can definitely choose love based thoughts to feel authentically good.
This is not knowledge we are born with, it is totally learnt behaviuor. Unfortunately, nobody tought us at school how to be emotionally stable or how to respond to difficult situations in life. However, it is never too late to start learning about yourself and the healer we have within.

Food for thought

There is nothing wrong with wanting things. It is just that the things themselves rarely, if ever, make us happy. What it is important is what the things represent to us. Always ask WHY you want to have something.

Who Am I?

Who are you?..... a doctor, a teacher,a housewife, a mother, a father? Is that who you really are or they are just the labels we as humans have to function in this world. We generally identify ourselves with our physical form. When we look at the mirror we just see our body but there is something else that makes us who we are.
If I have to make an analogy, I would say that my life resembles to that of  a tree. The branches I have are the different labels I show to the world. If one of the branches break, it doesn't mean that I stopped being who I am. My life continues and so do I. What's more, that branch can still continue growing, and take another form. For instance, if for some reason I am not successful as an enginner, I can still be successfull at something else. What changes are the roles I play in this world but my true self is constant, stable, and it is always the same.
When I start stripping away the layers of the things connected with the body, I go deep inside and start seeing who I really am.Within this physical being, there is my true self that we cannot see but we can exprerince it when we are in silence, when we mediate. This being uses the body to express itself, it uses the physical form to show the world what we are here for. This inner being or soul is our true nature.
We are more than the roles we play in our society, we are much more than that. Becoming aware of this can help us feel that we are not alone. When I am soul conscious my identy is derived from the worth of the soul rather than the physical body. We are not the body, we have a body. Think of yourself as a soul, this is your true identity, this is who you really are.

Changing bad habits

Why is it so hard to change our bad habits? Is it possible to change them? Habits are hard to change because they have been in our minds for many years or even many lives but the good news is, that it is possible to change them if we really want to.
The first step to change a bad habit is acceptance and love for what we are. It is healthy to accept the idea that we are not perfect and that we are in this world to become a better version of ourselves, we are here to learn and that takes time and loads of inner work.
Then, we have to understand that there is something we want to change,  we have to become aware of that and get the enough fuel to turn that thought of awareness into action. What is that fuel? That fuel is positive energy and positive thinking. Nothing is possible to change if we are thinking we cannot do it, that it is not for us. Everything can be changed if we have the right state of mind. Reject bad vibrations if you want the healing to happen.
Remember not to judge your habits, accept them and assume the responsibilty of change. You  have the power to heal yourself, you are the creator of your own destiny.
Welcome this new challenge in your life and have a go!
